“Donel and Mark made this the BEST girl's weekend ever!!”

Our annual girl's weekend was in Branson this year and it will be hard to top thanks to the warm hospitality of Donel and Mark. They made us feel like part of their family. The rooms were cozy and full of beautiful antiques. The breakfasts were incredible!! Each room got 2 tickets to the music show...don't miss it! It's wonderful and you won't believe how deep Mark's voice is. The house is minutes from the action in Branson but is in a quiet, tranquil setting which is great after a busy day. You won't be disappointed when you stay here. We're definitely coming back.

I would definitely stay here again for a nice little get away with the wife. The room was clean, cozy, and nice. Breakfast was good. The location was perfect-the Landing in a few minutes, 75 strip in 5-10minutes, or west side of strip in 15min. (or less) by hwy 165. Donel & Mark were great to visit with.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast!!!!

We stayed at the Kite House from October 12th-15th in the "Hideaway Suite". It was absolutely WONDERFUL. Not only do you get free tickets to a FABULOUS show, but there is also a FULL SIZE PRIVATE HOT TUB just for you! Breakfast each morning was delicious and the owners, Mark and Donel were the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. If you are looking for a place where you will feel pampered, with lots of privacy, but close to everything to do in Branson, The Kite House is a great place to stay. We hated to leave, and are already planning a return trip this winter. We have nothing but good things to say about "The Kite House".

We stayed at the Kite House B&B on August 10th thru the 12th and it was great. The rooms were just as described and very comfortable. We stayed in the Hide-Away suites. They were on the top floor of the cottage so there was not a lot of noise from other guest. We had a private hot tub, FULL SIZE, on our patio that was enclosed by a gazebo. We were only about 5 to 10 minutes away from Branson shows. It was nice not being on the strip because the traffic was so bad. The break fast was wonderful and the owners are great. Donel is great and a great cook. Even though we called her about 4 times before we got there. We had a great time and would recommend this to anyone that is wanting to stay at a bed and breakfast.

Very nice accommodations

We booked this bed and breakfast knowing it had steps, but liked the idea of two bedrooms. It turned out we had our very own hot tub on the veranda. Breakfast was very nice, but the best part turned out to be the free tickets we received to attend a show in Branson. The Grand Jubilee-one of the stars is half of the bed and breakfast team-turned out to be the best show we saw! It was fantastic and had a little something for everyone. We wished we could have seen their comedy show in the afternoon. The bed and breakfast was at another little town called Hollister, which scared us when we got there. But to our delight the host gave us a back way to Branson and we were there in minutes. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast, especially if you are looking for two rooms!

The Kite House, one of the oldest historic homes in the Branson area is a rare find for Branson visitors. Located only three minutes away from historic downtown Branson, as well as the newly developed Branson Landing, and the famous hwy 76 strip, yet in a private wooded setting secluded from the hustle and bustle of Country Music Boulevard.

We enjoyed the tranquility of times past in our suite filled with beautiful antiques from a bygone era. We enjoyed the extensive rock porches on which to rest after a tiring days activities, and after the shows enjoyed the private Jacuzzi under the stars.

Our hosts were Donel and Mark. Donel is a treasure, serving up wonderful breakfasts in the antique dining room. And it was extraordinary meeting Mark who is currently the bass singer for “New South” at the Grand Country Jubilee Theater.

If you are looking for a Branson Bed and Breakfast, you can not find a better Bed and Breakfast than the Kite House, I’ve stayed in many B&B’s across the country and have never had a better experience, and considering they include two complimentary tickets to see the Grand Jubilee valued at sixty dollars, well you can’t stay even in the worst flea bag Branson motel any cheaper. No affiliation just excited about my Kite House experience
